One Little Craft Tag Challenge #233

Recently I have started going through old art journals to decrease the amount of stuff in my life.  I had several (Ok five) partially completed journals) and so I decided to take three of them and use the pages as tag bases.  A few of the journal pages turned into great tags all on there own.  This is one of them.

I created this collage at least 5 years ago.  Most of the images are vintage images with matte medium used as collage glue.  There is always stickers, die cuts, stamping and netting on the collage.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #231

I started this stenciled collage about 5 years ago in a journal.  Recently I have been culling my old art journals for material for tags.  I use most of the material at tag bases but this one worked perfect at a tag on its own.  So I do not have any really instructions on how I created this because I can't remember. The tag includes stamping the circles in black and stenciling the blue waves, tulips, and the letters.

This tag was entered into the challenge at Lost Coast Design Portal of Creativity Challenge #39 Stenciled Background.

One Little Craft Tag Challenge #214

Adhere vintage dictionary page to a chipboard tag.  Apply micro glaze over the word family.  Paint the tag with 3 shades of brown acrylic paint and let dry.  Stamp over the tag with THE STAMP (A Stamp In the Hand) with Fried Brick Distress Oxide and blend with a color duster.   Wipe the paint off the micro glaze.  Distress the edges with a thread cutter.  Tear the brick decorative paper and adhere to the tag.  Paint each of the texture paper with a different shade of brown acrylic paint, wipe off some of the paint and let dry.   Stamp each layer with the script stamp with Distress Oxide Fried Brick and blend with a color duster.  Let dry, distress the edges with a thread cutter, and adhere the layers to the tag.  Adhere the photo image (Tim Holtz).  Create the flag banner with twine and washi tape.  Attach to the back of the tag.  Attach the clothes pins to twine.  Attach the metal clip to the top of the tag.

This tag is another in the personal challenge I have where I use the same stamp in different ways.  In this case, I used the stamp over acrylic paint with distress oxide and blended.  Several layers were stamped to create cohesion throughout the creation.

This tag was created for two of the paper clubs that I attend at Craft Warehouse in Gresham, Oregon and Vancouver Washington.  In these challenges they give you a collection of things and you are required to use them all.  The packet from Vancouver Craft Warehouse included the two clothes pins the texture paper and the image of the children.  The Gresham Craft Warehouse packet contained the metal clip, the brick decorative paper and the wood grain paper.
